A Waveguide Circulator is a mechanical device in a multi-port setting. Radio waves can only circulate in one direction during the transmission of the circulator, and are isolated in the opposite direction. In modern radar and microwave multi-channel communication systems, mechanical equipment with one-way circular characteristics should be used. In the microwave multi-channel communication system, data signals of different operating frequencies can be separated according to the circulator.

The waveguide circulator is the three ends of the one-way ring transmission of radio waves, so that the radio waves are transmitted in one direction. In microwave systems, data signals of different operating frequencies are separated by circulators, so that each functional module in the microwave system is isolated from each other and does not interfere with each other; waveguide circulators are often used as duplexers in modern radar communications.

The waveguide circulator controls the transmission of electromagnetic waves in a certain order direction through the ferrite material in the waveguide T-junction or waveguide network and the additional constant magnetic field. It can be used as the transceiver duplexer of pulse radar and the intermediate level of the system to play the role of matching and isolation.
