Waveguide isolator is non-mutually easy dual-port components that transmit electromagnetic waves in one direction. The reverse transmission of the data signal is isolated, so it is also called an inverter. In microwave RF systems, it is mainly used to adjust the transmission of electromagnetic wave data signals in one direction and reduce the impact of reflected data signals on the system or source.
The waveguide isolator controls the electromagnetic wave to transmit in one direction only through the ferrite material in the waveguide and the additional constant magnetic field, which is absorbed in the opposite direction and isolated. This unidirectional transmission performance is used for the matching between stages and systems of microwave equipment, so as to reduce the impact of the later reflected signal on the system and make them work independently and isolate each other.
