Working principle

The working principle of the phase locked dielectric resonator oscillator frequency source is: the reference signal of the crystal oscillator is used to generate sharp pulse (or comb spectrum) signals of the same frequency. When the output frequency of the oscillator is the same as the N-th harmonic frequency of the reference signal, the error signal output after comparison with the microwave signal is filtered to a stable DC voltage by the loop filter, and the output frequency of the oscillator is stabilized at Nfi.
