A method for obtaining the temperature-resistance polynomial function T(r) using cubic elementary spline curve fitting is introduced. The actual use shows that the calculation speed of this method is fast and the error generated is small, which can improve the running speed and control precision of the temperature measurement and control system.

The platinum resistance sensor has good long-term stability. Typical experimental data are: 300 hours at 400 °C, and the maximum temperature drift at 0 °C is 0.02 °C.
