Introduction
The column load cell is a measuring element. By means of simulation and experiment, the percentage error of the direct output value of the bridge and the percentage error of the output value after strain data fusion using a neural network under various eccentric and inclined load conditions of the column strain force sensors with different heights are discussed.

Working principle
During the measurement, gravity acts on the elastomer to produce deformation, and this strain (positive or negative) is converted into an electronic signal by the strain gauge stuck on the elastomer. In addition to the necessary strain gauge and elastic body, the column load cell usually includes housing for protecting the strain gauge, sealing elements, etc.

Application
The column load cell can be used to measure pressure, particularly in heavy-duty applications. The large capacity nature of the design, unless improperly loaded, generally will not bend and deform. The column-type weighing sensor can usually be used in ladle scales, rolling force measurement, testing machines, and various large tonnage batching weighing control.
