Semi Flexible Cable, also known as hand-formed cable. It means that it can be easily bent by hand and maintain a certain shape (generally users can bend it by themselves according to the scene of use), and the performance of insertion loss and standing wave of the cable assembly will not be affected during this process. Generally, it will be used in large quantities inside the developed chassis. This cable has excellent shielding, so no signal crosstalk occurs in dense wiring environments. Also, this cable assembly can operate at very high frequencies, say up to 65GHz, but is relatively inexpensive, so it is sometimes used as a simple proof test cable.

Product structure

The outer conductor of the semi flex cable adopts a high-density round wire braided tinned structure. Because the coverage rate of the cable shielding layer is close to 100% after tinning, the cable has good shielding performance, so that the semi-flexible cable has a higher frequency band and good electrical performance indicators. The tinned shielding layer has good bending formability and certain formability, and is often used to replace "semi-rigid cables".
1. Inner conductor: use a single silver-plated copper wire or a single silver-plated copper-clad steel wire.
2. Insulation: solid PTFE; transmission rate: about 70%.
3. Shielding layer: High-density round wire braided tin-plated structure is used. The 100% coverage of the shielding layer after tinning makes the cable have good shielding performance, and also reduces the loss of the outer conductor of the cable, making the semi-flexible cable have a higher frequency of use and better electrical performance in the full frequency band index.
