2.Working principle

3.Effect

For the basic high pass filter, it allows the high frequency or AC component of the signal to pass through, while the low frequency or DC component is suppressed. That is to filter low frequency and retain high frequency.

4.Type

(1) Active high pass filter and passive high pass filter are classified according to different components used.

Passive high pass filter: a filter consisting only of passive components (R, L and C), which is formed by using the principle that the reactance of capacitance and inductance components changes with frequency.

Active high pass filter: It is composed of passive components (R and C are generally used) and active components (such as integrated operational amplifier).
