Introduction
A RF Diplexer is a device that can connect a transmission path and a reception path to a single or common antenna without interfering with each other. When the frequency of transmitter and receiver is different (FDD), it can be combined with two filters. One filter is tuned to the receiver and the other is tuned to the transmitter. When the transmitter and receiver have the same frequency (TDD), the filtering method will not work. In this case, we use a circulator, which can only transmit signals in one direction.
Structure
Duplexer is a special bidirectional three terminal filter. The duplexer should not only couple the weak received signal, but also feed the larger transmission power to the antenna, and both should complete their functions without mutual influence. The general duplexer is composed of a spiral vibration chamber. Due to its high working frequency and large influence of distribution parameters, it is often made into a sealing sleeve. Each signal feeder is made of a coaxial cable chamber with good shielding effect, which also requires a certain degree of smoothness. In order to facilitate heat dissipation, the appearance is usually black. The three signal terminals generally use standard high-frequency connector Q9 or L16 type high-frequency socket wireless communication requirements for the duplexer.

Working principle
The RF Diplexer consists of six band stop filters (notch filters), which are resonant at the transmitting and receiving frequencies respectively. The filter at the receiving end resonates with the transmission frequency and prevents the transmission power from entering the receiver in series; The transmitter filter resonates with the receiving frequency. This prevents the transmission of the local transmission signal to the receiver.

Application

The transceiver duplexer is used to prevent large signals from coming directly into the front end of the receiver, causing saturation of the receiving spillway and even burning, and to avoid the shock of transmitter noise on the receiving sensitivity; The receiver receiver duplexer is used for two receivers with unequal frequencies, one antenna for each receiver, so as to avoid the addition of sound noise coefficient caused by calling the splitter all the time, and to hold the signal preselection efficiency; Duplexer is used for two transmitters with different frequencies, one antenna for each transmitter, to avoid power loss caused by combiner, and to prevent interaction of high-power transmitters, and it can also be limited to output signal harmonic clutter.
