Micro Load Cell

Introduction

The micro load cell is made of aluminum alloy or stainless steel and is of pressure division or tension-compression dual-use type. The diameter is small, the height is low, the diameter is 20cm, and the height is less than 10cm, which is equivalent to the size of a coin. It is convenient to use, with accurate force measurement and high accuracy. It is also called a button sensor, small compression sensor, micro force sensor, micro sensor, and imported micro load sensor.

It is applicable to force measurement in small spaces. The micro weighing sensor system is a new type of electronic weighing sensor developed based on the traditional resistance strain sensor, combined with modern microelectronic technology and microcomputer technology.

Structure

The miniature load cell comprises an analog sensor (resistance strain gauge) and a digital conversion module. The digital module is made of a highly integrated electronic circuit using SMT surface mount technology, mainly including an amplifier, A/D converter, microprocessor (CPU), memory, the interface circuit (RS485), and digital temperature sensor.

The sensor adopts a miniature precision design, steel integrated structure, and high protection performance. It is mainly used for occasions with limited space.

Working principle

The working principle of the micro load cell is to stick the resistance strain gauge on the elastic sensing element and then form an electric bridge appropriately to convert the object's mass into an electrical signal.
